Nest #08

Shoot in June 2012 in an antenna field in West Friendship, MD. The series was awarded at Hearst 8x10 Photography Biennial 2013 and show us the performance of birds dancing from wire to wire. What is interesting about these pictures is that I always passed on this place and had the desire to photograph it, but I was waiting for the perfect weather conditions to shoot., when I finally decided to go I had the gift of thousands of birds resting on the field. I spent about an hour shooting and admiring the birds on this man-made nest.
