I was raised in a small city in the South of Brazil by people who believe that protecting and restoring our forests is the right path to guaranteeing our future. My parents taught me how to be resilient and believe in a better world. Their work inspired me to study Biology and get a Master's of Science Degree in Botany. However, it was my connection with nature that inspired me to pursue art as a form of awakening and to reconnect my inner soul with mother Earth. I am a self-taught artist. I first watercolored in my childhood, watching my parents take beautiful portraits of nature and my grandparents create art with needles and threads. Today I use my art to approach the freedom I felt in my childhood.
